Frużelina Packaging Design

Frużelina® is an original fruit-in-gel topping made from carefully selected fruits immersed in a shiny, delicate gel. A versatile, ready-to-use addition for ice cream, waffles, pancakes, pastries, and desserts. With up to 70% fruit content, it delivers natural fruit flavor and visual appeal across applications. 

Frużelina® is unique. It’s a registered Prospona product name, widely recognised in the industry and valued by both professional chefs and home bakers. 

At Abarel Studio, we partnered with Prospona to elevate the packaging design of Frużelina across formats and markets. Our collaboration spanned the full creative and technical workflow, including:

• strategic concept development for packaging design that reflects product quality and brand heritage

• detailed DTP work to build accurate, production-ready dielines and graphic files

• meticulous press prep and pre-press checks to ensure color fidelity, print accuracy, and compliance with technical specs

• adaptation of design systems for multiple formats and labeling requirements

The result is a cohesive packaging family tailored to the needs of both foodservice and retail channels:

• foodservice cans: 3.2 kg and 2.5 kg

• retail cans: 380 g

This end-to-end workflow ensured that Frużelina’s packaging not only looks premium on the shelf but also supports efficient production and consistent quality across print runs.
